Sotenbori / Soutenbori

Soutenbori 蒼天堀 is the fictionalised town, located in Osaka (Oosaka) 大阪, in the Kansai 関西region of the island of Honshu 本州. It is based on the real life area of Osaka Doutonbori 道頓堀.

A man in Yakuza 2 tells Kiryu it used to be full of theatres and stage performances. Now it is the premier place for fooderies.

Yakuza 2

It is translated as Sotenbori in this game and will be known by this name when referenced in this game. Kiryu first goes to Sotenbori in Chapter 2: The Dragon of Kansai and spends several chapters there throughout the course of the game.
