  • Shinada starts on the roof of his residence {{品田の家 Shinada's Abode}}, but cannot re-enter yet. There is only one exit. The metal steps.
  • When Shinada hits street level, there is a marker at {{ふと桃Club - Club Peachy Butt}}.
  • ! He is unable to go down certain streets. All the Save Points are blocked off.
  • ! If Shinada crosses 紬通 Tumugi Street and 本陣町通 Honjinchou Street then he will get approached by ヘルスの店長 (Health Shop Manager - euphimism for Massage Parlour).
  • ! If Shinada crosses 紬通 Tumugi Street and 帯板通 - Obiita Street then he will get approached by ぼったくり店のキャッチ (Ripoff Shop Hawker).
  • ! When Shinada nears the corner of 熊野大通 - Kumanotai Street and 帯板通 - Obiita Street his attention is brought to the image of the Japan Dome (home Baseball Stadium of the Nagoya Wyverns?).
  • ! When Shinada goes up 熊野大通 - Kumanotai Street with M Store he gets stopped by an an old lady who works at the Pharmacy 薬局のおばちゃん. She gives Shinada スタミナンX Staminan X .

When Shinada gets near the club it is pointed out to him.

When Shinada enters the Peachy Butt Club he talks to the ふと桃店長 (Peachy Butt Manager). They argue. The manager hands over a phone. It's みるく (Miruku). She sounds upset and her and Shinada have a heated conversation.

Adventure Mode

Evening
  • Shinada is back on the street outside Peachy Butt Club.
  • The next marker is just west over the junction. All other passages are blocked.
When Shinada enters the building he meets several uniformed Kubota Security guys.

! Memo - 栬状 俺流 流星タックル (My Style Meteor Tackle) - Use Triangle to do a nice sliding tackle.

Assisted Cut Scene

2 guards (大野 Oono and ???山) enter and talk to Shinada. Eventually they point out a bat on the desk. Shinada picks up the bat and talks about it. Something about 1981. The owner 久保田 Kubota enters and looks sternly at them. Kubota stabs a pen into Oono's face. Shinada begs him to stop. Outside ???山 finishes a call and then talks to Shinada.

Adventure Mode

  • The next marker and only possibilty is in the Peachy Butt Club.

  • Shinada is outside the club.
  • The next story marker is near the corner of 本陣町通東 - Honjinchou Street East and 久米大通南 - Kumedai Street South.

Assisted Cut Scene

When Shinada goes east he bumps into the man who was banging at his door earlier, 宇野 Uno. They walk off together talking. They walk through the park (Middo Square).

After a while Shinada runs away from Uno after snatching an envelope from him.

Adventure Mode

Night
  • Shinada is at 出版社 (Publisher) on 本陣町通東 - Honjinchou Street East.
  • The next story marker is at 錦栄バッティングセンター Kinei Batting Centre.

Assisted Cut Scene

When Shinada gets a bit down the street his phone goes. It's 編集部の人間 (Editorial Department Person) asking questions:

Near the Save point Shinada is stopped by なんか？ってる人 (? person).

! Shinada gets a 丈夫な鉄パイプ Durable Iron Pipe from somewhere!

! Memo - 品田の武器攻撃 (Shinada's Weapon Attack)

  • Shinada can now use the telephone box as a Save Point.

! Entering the 錦栄バッティングセンター (Kinei Batting Centre) removes 200 yen from his wallet.

This opens up Shinada's Another Drama section. See Ryuu Ga Gotoku 5 Another Drama Cost of the Stroke for the tutorial.

Batting Mode

30 pitches get a ホームラン (Home Run).

Assisted Cut Scene

If / when Shinada gets a home run then he goes to the window and speaks to Obaachan. Suddenly Takasugi appears and says something cutting then disappears into an office.

  • The トップメニュー (Top Menu) is shown with Shinada's batting stats

! Memo バッティング能力 (Batting Ability) - explains all the level up stats on the Top Menu.

Assisted Cut Scene

When Shinada goes near the exit of the batting centre, he sees 立ってる若者 (Standing Youth) and 座ってる若者 (Sitting Youth).

! Memo 装備 (Equpment) - talks about the equipment Shinada can wear that'll make him a better baseballer (probably!).

Adventure Mode

  • Shinada needs to leave the batting centre.

Assisted Cut Scene

When Shinada leaves the batting centre he gets a call from 牛島史哉 (Fumiya Ushijima). He doesn't sound happy. Shinada must go and see him at his restaurant ダイニングハイ牛島 (Dining High Ushijima).

Adventure Mode

  • The map has now opened up.
  • A story marker is on 熊野大通南 - Kumanotai Street South.
! South of the TV Tower is a 壮年の男 (Man in his Prime). He recognises Shinada then gives him a 福引き景 / 福引き券 Lottery Ticket . This will start off the Ryuu Ga Gotoku 5 Lottery.

Ushijima and Shinada continue talking. ??? enters.

When Shinada leaves the restaurant Oono Teppei (大野鉄平) comes up in his face screeching like a girl. He does have a scar on his face from the brutalising he got earlier from Kubota.

When Shinada gets near he see's that celebrity chef Tatsuya. This is the start of Ryuu Ga Gotoku 5 Tatsuya's Training. You can talk to him to partake or ignore him if you've completed the game once already.
