Assisted Cut Scene

When he answers, Hana gives him an earful, but as usual Akiyama pretends he didn't realise it was Hana. There is a knock at the door. Hana doesn't believe him. The knock happens again, but Hana is still tearing him a new one. Several men enter and their leader 袴田猛 Hakamada Takeshi talks very sternly to Akiyama.

Battle Mode

近江連 x 4 + 袴田猛 (4 Omi Family men and Takeshi Hakamada)

Assisted Cut Scene

After the fight Hakamada quivers on the floor then stands up and runs out.

Hana rings again.

! Memo - Hideout - The Soutenbori office of Sky Finance can now be used as a Ryuu Ga Gotoku 5 Hideout .

Adventure Mode

  • Akiyama starts with 50,000 Yen.
  • The next story marker is at {{Dyna Chair}}. If Akiyama goes to near the front door of {{dych}} then the cut scene plays.

Assisted Cut Scene

Akiyama and Horie sit down on one of the sofas and have a talk about the recent events.

Adventure Mode

  • Akiyama has the freedom to walk around {{dych}} but he can't leave or enter the office. The next story marker is at the door of the dance studio on the 4th floor.

Eventually Haruka and Akiyama stand up and they talk some more.

Adventure Mode

  • Haruka is now following Akiyama.
  • The next story marker is up on the roof.

Assisted Cut Scene

On the roof by the external stairs is Yamaura. She talks to Akiyama and Haruka then leaves them. Akiyama and Haruka walk to the steps. Akiyama then has some questions for Haruka...
  • 朴社長は死んだのは何時頃なんだ？ - Approximately when did President Mirei die?
  • どこから飛び降りたんだ - From where did she jump
  • どのくらいの高さを飛び降りたんだろう - How high did she jump to her death from?
When Akiyama has asked all three questions then a fourth question appears:
  • 現場の状況は大体分かったな - Tell me the circumstance around the scene of the crime.
Akiyama and Haruka go back to the 3rd floor office and talk to Horie. This is a massive talky bit. Haruka and Akiyama swap mobile numbers and then Akiyama leaves. Horie talks to Haruka some more then he leaves.

Adventure Mode

Evening As Haruka
  • The next story marker is at Haruka's Apartment or Sky Finance (depending on which character you play as).

! NB Haruka and Akiyama are now swappable characters. When Haruka goes to Sky Finance, Soutenbori or her apertment she can either talk to Akiyama or choose 主人公の変更 (Swap Protagonist) the 4th option on the hideout menu.

! If Haruka goes to her bed or Akiyama goes to his couch they have the options:

  • 夜まで寝る - Progress to night time by sleeping
  • やめておく- Give it a miss

Akiyama is sat on his sofa when his phone goes. Haruka is on the other end of the line and she asks him to meet her at {{dych}}.

Adventure Mode

  • The option to player swap is no longer available.

    ! When Akiyama leaves Sky Finance he gets a text message from "best_friend".

  • The next story marker is at {{Dyna Chair}}.

Assisted Cut Scene

Outside {{dych}} there is a crowd of people milling round a body prone on the floor. There is a 行き倒れ ikidaore "Person collapsed in the street". One 街ゆく男 (Street Walking Man) asks if he is OK. We may recognise him from Yakuza 4, but for the time being Akiyama and the 行き倒れてた男 (Collapsed Man) go to Ashitiba Park. It's {{西郷大二郎 Saigo Daijiro}}.

チュートリアル - Tutorial

  • 絶技「エアストライク」Special Move - Air Strike

! Press Triangle then when the onscreen prompt appears to flip the opponent into the air then mash Square.

  • {{Ability エアストライク Air Strike}} acquired

! Saigo is now available as a Ryuu Ga Gotoku 5 Saigo's Training in Ashitiba Park.

! Akiyama receives a text message from "love_weapons" telling him about Works Kamiyama has just opened. The van is in the car park on Shoufukuchou West opposite {{Komian}}.

Adventure Mode

Evening as Akiyama
  • 10 new sub stories are now available
  • The next story mission is at {{dych}}. Haruka is standing outside an if Akiyama gets too close then the story starts.

Haruka and Akiyama enter the office.

Adventure Mode

  • There is a marker at Mirei's office. ! Akiyama is able to save in the office.

Assisted Cut Scene

There is a brief message when Akiyama enters the general office area, but when Haruka and Akiyama enter Mirei's office. Akiyama checks Mirei's desk drawers and then Haruka mentions the safe. Akiyama picks up something that may be the key and tries it. No luck. Haruka shows him the pen that Mirei gave her last night.

Adventure Mode

Evening as Akiyama.
  • The marker is at the Emergency Exit on the third floor.

Battle Mode

Kan Ogita 荻田冠

Tips: Keep a distance and run up to Ogita and △ kick him until HEAT Action moves are available.

Battle Mode

Mystery Man 謎の男

Tips: Don't attack this guy when he has flame hands. Wait for a gap and then run and △ kick him then follow up with a combination then retreat until Akiyama has HEAT.

! There is a cool QTE towards the end!
