Opens up at the start of Ryuu Ga Gotoku 5 Part 3 Chapter 2 Thoughts of Trust .

Storyline:

When Haruka hits the SE corner of Shoufukuchou she is stopped by 理知的な男 (An intellectual fat man). His name is 冬下 (Toushita). He mentions 蒼天堀バトル ロイヤル99 (Soutenbori Battle Royale 99) or STB99, to Haruka. Toushita asks whether Haruka would like to enter:

• はい Yes
• いいえ No

They appear in a dressing room and Toushita explains what Haruka needs to do. 歩美 Ayumi enters wearing a hideous blue / purple tartan magical princess dress. It really is awful. She says hello to Haruka using the san suffix. She's seen her on the Princess League and is looking forward to her being on STB99.

Haruka is on stage with Ayumi and two other appallingly dressed girls.

Haruka ends up back at the corner of Shoufukuchou South and East outside Karaokekan.

! NB The title of this story is a reference to AKB48 who are a Japanese idol group who are based out of Akihabara and have 48 members (47 too many!).
