Opens up at the start of Ryuu Ga Gotoku 5 Part 3 Chapter 2 Thoughts of Trust.

Storyline:

Haruka hears ハルオ (Haruo) And アキヒコ (Akihiko) talk near the Savepoint on Iwao Bridge. Akihiko walks off.

Haruka speaks to Haruo. He wants to be a comedian. He doesn't have a manzai partner. He asks Haruka what he should do?

  • やってみる - I'll have a go
  • 断る - Naah maaaate!
If Haruka accepts then Haruo is over the moon that they will be コンビ名 (An established duo). He asks her to choose a name for the duo.
  • はるはるず - Haruharuzu
  • ユーモラス - Yuumorasu
  • マンポウズ - Manpouzu

Any will do.

They go to a performance hall where Haruo tells Haruka they are about to have an オーディション audition. There is a crowd waiting. Haruo gives Haruka some prepping and then they go out to the crowd and panel of judges. Haruo will be the Boke - 惚け · 呆け (Funny man / idiot) and Haruka will be the Tsukkomi - 突っ込み (Straight man).

Haruka needs to press the relevant button right at the end of Haruo's line to get maximum points:

Haruka and Haruo need to get 80 points to succeed.

When they get the points Haruo is amazed. Haruka and Haruo end up just north of Iwao Bridge again. Haruo thanks Haruka for her help.
