Ryuu Ga Gotoku 5 - 師匠 - Masters タツヤ - Tatsuya

Kiryuu is introduced to 川越達也 Kawagoe Tatsuya in Ryuu Ga Gotoku 5 Part 1 Chapter 2 Uninvited Guest as part of the main story after Mrs Hirakawa gives him a mission.
After the initial meeting at the restaurant, Tatsuya タツヤ appears on the edge of Ose Bridge 逢瀬橋 - Ouse Bridge where Kiryuu can go and interact with him. Kiryuu then has to visit:
- 博多荘 Hakatasou
- はんごう雑炊 山 Hangou Zousui Yama
- ウエスト (WEST)
- お店を紹介する - Recommend a restaurants
- 特に用は無い - Nothing to report

Once Kiryuu introduces Tatsuya to each restaurant he will learn that food has it's own unique flavour, texture and nutritional content. Kiryuu can get enhanced abilities from eating food in restaurants.
- Health - Restores health up to the second gauge (yellow), but this will fall over time.
- Strength (Yellow) - Fighting unarmed does more damage (or dance battle points increase in Haruka's case)
- Focus (Light Blue) - HEAT Gauge stays above a certain level
- Fighting Spirit (Red) - HEAT Actions do more damage (HEAT gauge rises quicker in Haruka's case)
Strength, Focus and Fighting Spirit rise as you eat dishes, but are reset when the second health gauge is depleted.
Recommend all 3 restaurants to Tatsuya to get the following abilities:
- Gourmet in Training - グルメビギナー Gourmet Beginner - Opens up the second level of the health gauge (yellow) and the ability to use food at Level 1 for the 3 special abilities
- Master Gourmet - グルメマスタ ー Gourmet Master - Opens up the ability to use food at Level 2 for the 3 special abilities
- King of Gourmets - グルメキング - Gourmet King - Reduces the amount of stamina lost
Kiryuu has to attend the reveal of Tatsuya's new dish. Go to the stall just north of ラーメン屋台 たまき - Raamen yatai Tamasa stand where he sees Tatsuya being filmed with chef 戸田川 Todokawa by a presenter 司会. Tatsuya's stall is now open where Kiryuu can order クリームシチュー仕立ての水炊き雑炊 Seasoned rice cream stew prepared in a stewing pot (60 XP).
Saejima
タツヤ Tatsuya is on the street outside Polaris when Saejima first goes to Tsukimino in Ryuu Ga Gotoku 5 Part 2 Chapter 4 Reckless Battle.
When Saejima talks with Tatsuya, he'll talk his ass off then send him a text message. The smug chef then waits outside Don Quijote (he has his own little marker on the map).

When Saejima walks outside Café Alps then he see's Smugly Smuggerton with a film crew and the store owner. He's concocted a special menu item for Café Alps ココナッツミルクとブイヨンのスープカレーパスタ.
Haruka
Tatsuya is loitering outside Haruka's apartment at the end of Ryuu Ga Gotoku 5 Part 3 Chapter 1 Greenroom Dreams.
When Haruka talks with him they introduce themselves to each other and he eventually sends her on the same goose chase he sent the others. After they talk, he sends her a text message.

After Haruka has introduced Tatsuya to the 3 establishments, when she goes past MONTBLANC COFFEE on Bunzaemon Path (South), she see's Tatsuya with the 司会TV presenter and the 店長 Shop Manager. They've decided to make マダムテルカ・卵たっぷりバウムクーヘン Madame Turk- Eggy Baumkuchen . After wading through the text, Haruka can then buy one of the cakes from the stall outside the shop.
! A baumkuchen is a cake that is made by pouring batter over a revolving spit until it solidifies and then more layers are added until the cake is quite large. Even though the cake in the picture looks more like a ciambella / bundt cake you can just make out the layers.
Akiyama
Opens up after Akiyama goes to Bar Crest in Ryuu Ga Gotoku 5 Part 3 Chapter 4 Beyond Your Wildest Dreams.
Tatsuya will be loitering at the western entrance to Houganji Back Alley. After they talk, Tatsuya sends Akiyama a text message.

Opens up after Shinada meets {{Oono Teppei}} towards the end of Ryuu Ga Gotoku 5 Part 4 Chapter 1 Not Without Glory.
Tatsuya will be loitering outside Shinada's Residence looking all 困っている男 (Distressed Man). Shinada asks if he's alright. Tatsuya says he's doing some TV program. He wants to find some original dishes. After they talk, Tatsuya sends Shinada a text message.
