Opens up in Ryuu Ga Gotoku 5 Part 1 Chapter 1 Wandering Around after Kiryuu visits Club Olivier with Nakajima.

Introduction

Kiryuu has a preliminary meeting as part of the story mode where he learns the 怒龍の気位 Angry Dragon Spirit ability. After this initial meeting it is up to Kiryuu to visit Sousuke to gain more skills.

Location

In the building site at the corner of 筑前川 通り 南 - Chikuzen River Street South.

First Encounter

Talk to Sousuke and learn about ヒートアクション禁止ボタン HEAT Action Inhibit Button - If you want to perform an action whilst in HEAT mode which isn't a HEAT Action then press L2. Helpful when you want to stomp on enemies instead of perform the HEAT action.

The first time Kiryuu talks to Sousuke he is told via a pop-up screen that ヒートアクションが使用できません HEAT Actions can not be used in his training.

Each time Kiryuu talks to Komaki, he offers to train Kiryuu:

  • 稽古をつけてもらう - Keiko wo Tsukete morau - Accept Training (Choose)
  • 特に用は無い - Not bothered! (Quit)

Then:

  • 稽古を開始する - Keiko wo kaishi suru - Commence Training
  • やっぱりやめる - Quit

古牧宗介 Sousuke Komaki

!Hint: In the the first lesson, use L1 Guard and then try and get a few 2-3 punch combos in when he eases up

!Hint: For the other lessons, use Komaki Knock Back + 2-3 punch Combos

!Hint: On the last lesson, use Komaki Knock Back + Kick

Subsequent Encounters

Each time Kiryuu goes to talk to Sousuke at the building site he can learn the following skills:
  1. Gale Scroll (疾風の巻) - Learn Komaki Knockback - 古牧流 弾き返し
  2. Heat Haze Scroll (陽炎の巻) - Learn Komaki Evade and Strike - 古牧流 捌き打ち
  3. Flowing Water Scroll (流水の巻) - Learn Komaki Parry - 古牧流 受け流し

Sousuke Leaves the Building Site

Sousuke is stood outside the building between Club SEGA and Nagasu Night Navi.

Talking to him starts an assisted cut scene on 逢瀬橋 - Ouse Bridge. After the conversation, Sousuke sends Kiryuu a text サンキュな Thank you thank you whereby he learns クライマックスヒート 「酔鉄山の極み」 "Komaki Essence of Drunken Thrust (Climax HEAT)" .

Sousuke Returns to the Building Site

Kiryuu can pick up again at the building site like before and learn:

  1. 虎穴の巻 Learn Komaki Tiger Drop - 古牧流 虎落と
    究極の巻 Learn クライマックスヒート「究極の極み」 "Ultimate Essence (Climax HEAT)"

On completing the fourth challenge, Kiryuu recieves an email from コンプリート事務局 Complete Office telling him about 宗介修行達成 "Sousuke Training Achievement" Finished all Sousuke's Training.

Last Visit to the Building Site

When Kiryuu talks to Sousuke again he'll ask him for money to go to Kamurochou . (assuming Kiryuu has more than 30,000 on him, if not he'll have to go earn it):

  • 金を払う "Pay money" 30,000 yen
  • 金を払わない "Don't pay money"

This concludes Sousuke's involvement until Part 5.

After retruning to Kamurochou in Ryuu Ga Gotoku 5 Part Final Chapter 1 Return Of The Legend when Kiryuu approaches Ryugujo Building he see's (古牧宗介) Sousuke Komaki outside pondering about {{Dojo|Komaki's Dojo}}. If Kiryuu enters he will get the option:
  • 賭場に行く- Toba ni iku - Go to the Gambling Hall
  • カジノに行く - Kajino ni Iku - Go to the Casino
  • 道場に行く - Go to the Dojo (Choose)
  • やめる - Yameru - Exit

When Kiryuu first enters he needs to go up and talk to Sousuke. When he does, {{古牧宗太郎 Sotarou Komaki}} enters. Sotarou talks with Kiryuu and introduces him to his grandson 古牧宗介 (Sousuke). Sotarou and Sousuke talk. Kiryuu gets ejected from the dojo.

If Kiryuu does a lap around the Ryuugujo Building then he will be let back in.

When he enters Sousuke is on the floor with Sotarou standing over him. Looks like he got schooled by his Jiisan.

After a long talk between Kiryuu and Sotarou, Sousuke gets up off the floor. Sousuke walks off and Sotarou and Kiryuu finish their conversation after which Kiryuu is left alone in the dojo.

Again Kiryuu has to walk away from the dojo a slight distance then return. The Komaki's are stood there. Kiryu engages Sousuke and then receives {{Ability 古牧流 虎落とし 極}}.

If Kiryuu talks to Sousuke then he takes 30,000 Yen off him.

If Kiryuu talks to Sotarou then:

  • 挑戦する - Challenge (Choose)
  • 今はやめておく- Not right now
Sotarou warns it will get brutal:
  • 準備 オーケーI prepared OK
  • やっぱり やめる - OK I'll give up

! If you haven't skilled up in this game then you are going to have to cheat. Get some money from gambling and buy 8 9 MM Automatic Pistols from Kamiyama.
