Introduced in Ryuu Ga Gotoku 5 Part 3 Chapter 3 Getting Closer When Akiyama tries to get to {{dych}}.Saigou {{西郷大二郎 Saigou Daijiro}} is initially lying in the street. Akiyama escorts him to Ashitaba Park where they fight and Akiyama learns the {{Ability エアストライク Air Strike}}.
When Akiyama goes back to Saigou, he subsequently asks:- トレーニングする - Do training?

Akiyama needs to defeat Saigou and his men with a gun with infinite ammo.Controls
- R1 to aim
- △ to Fire
Use L1 to strafe and use the nooks and crannies of the buildings as cover if needed.
! You can access your inventory during this mission so you can recover health if needs be.
! In the latter stages you may need use sway and X to get Saigou who unfairly has a machine gun.

Saigou around Shoufukuchou, Ashitaba Park and the Soutenbori Waterfront Path.
! Saigou will throw grenades back at Akiyama that will deal damage.
! Saigou has accomplices that will throw items at Akiyama.
! Akiyama cannot use health items in his inventory.
! 口 Charge attacks are needed here. You need to find a rhythm of hitting the 口 button repeatedly.
Learn {{Ability エアストライクプラス Air Strike Plus}} Number of strikes whilst in the air increases on Air Strike move.

! You can beat this with a Level 1 Tonfa, a Level 1 Kali Stick and 3 Staminan Royales and the 防弾ガラスの御守 Bulletproof Glass Amulet .

After completing all five sections above then Saigou takes Akiyama to a secluded spot and talk.

In the denouement of this saga a ??の男 (?? man) in dark clothes approaches Saigou and Akiyama. He seems to be giving Saigou a hard time. He asks about Sky Finance then pulls a gun out on them. After some angry words between the mystery man and Akiyama, Saigou runs out in front of Akiyama...
The next scene shows Saigou on the floor with Akiyama knelt over him. The mystery man is still there pointing the gun at Akiyama. Akiyama stands up and tells him to stop waving that gun around. Akiyama readies himself in the fighting stance.
Just then a voice says "Cut!" Akiyama is still rocking back and forth in his ready stance and questions the word. He then relaxes and see's Saigou in a conflab with the masked man and two other men. They turn out to be 西郷の弟子 (Saigou's apprentices). It was all a ruse.
After the prolonged cut scene Akiyama will get a text message from コンプリート事務局 Completion Office telling him he's 西郷の修行を全て終える (Completed Saigou's Training) and to collect his prize.
For subsequent completion of Saigou's training Akiyama will receive スタミナンXX Staminan XX .
