- Junction of 招福町西 - Shoufukuchou West. It is marked on the map as a little van.
Introduction
First available in Ryuu Ga Gotoku 5 Part 1 Chapter 3 Battle Plans after Kiryuu meets Mack.
A marker for Renji Kamiyama is situated opposite Kiryuu's apartment.
When Kiryuu interacts with the three people, two of them, a チンピラ兄弟分 (Small Time Yakuza Leader) and his pal チンピラ弟分 (Small Time Yakuza Member), are picking on a fat man. The fat man is 上山 連次 (Renji Kamiyama). Even though Renji looked to be getting the situation under control, Kiryuu walks up and sticks his neb in.

Renji introduces himself ans asks whether Kiryuu remembers him.
In order not to blow his cover, Kiryuu pretends he Suzuki-san and will not answer to "Kiryuu"
Kamiyama tells Kiryuu about Works Kamiyama and takes him to the Nagasugai branch.
He tells Kiryuu about weapons and leveling them up.

武器の製作 - Weapon Production
As well as being at the right level the characters occaisionally need an extra item to be able to get Kamiyama to make the weapons and gear.
Details on how to level up are in the Investment section.
Kamiyama will only make the items when the player has invested the relevant amount of money and the relevant item.
Try and get all the items before levelling up to LV10 as the items are worth something (usually 40 yen) but it all adds up.
Once the player has leveled up the different categories are available by pressing L1 and R1 to cycle through:

投資 - Investment (Leveling up)
Kamiyama is trying to go national and needs funds and materials.
As the shop levels up, better weapons and gear will become available.
All the shops share the same shop level.

- Lvl 2 - 10,000 Yen
- Lvl 3 - 15,000 Yen
- Lvl 4 - 20,000 Yen
- Lvl 5 - 30,000 Yen
- Lvl 6 - 50,000 Yen
- Lvl 7 - 100,000 Yen
- Lvl 8 - 120,000 Yen
- Lvl 9 - 150,000 Yen
If you tot all that up, then you need to spend 500,000 Yen to get to level 10.
Investing Cash
This will allow the levelling up of weapons.
The amount needed to get to the next level is displayed in the top left corner of the screen.
Investing Goods
Certain goods are needed to mod certain weapons (See the tables above to see what weapons need which materials).
Other goods have a monetary value which can be traded in.
It is best to get rid of the cheap weapons you pick up from random encounters.
