Shirakawa is going to pitch 10 balls at Shinada and he has to get a ホームラン (Home Run).

Another 男 (Man) in a suit calls out to Shirakawa. This is 黒崎 (Kurosaki). Shinada is shocked and uses the word チームメイト (Teammate). Kurosaki continues to talk to Shirakawa. The word ホームラン (home run) is also mentioned. When Shirakawa leaves the cages a thin elderly man looks at him. We will find out who he is shortly.

A cute girl is in the batting centre called コキナ (Kokina). She and Shinada talk whilst she acts coquettish. We are transported to an actuall baseball pitch. A 部長 (Team coach) and 部下 (subordinate) are talking by the dugout. Kokina and Shinada walk up to them. After some talking Shinada goes into bat againt a team.

Kokina fauns in front of him until the coach comes along with some praise and then he and the girl walk off. The subordinate walks up and gives Shinada the reward.

When Shinada talks to him 小鼓 (Kotsuzumi) comes in and thay all talk. Turns out the kids name is 三笠 (Mikasa).

Afterwards Shinada is congratulated by Mikasa and Kotsuzumi who soon runs off. Soon after Mikasa gets a call and runs off too.

Outside in a car park three "Kinei" baseball team members are on their knee's in front of a bunch of Chinpira (10). The コウイチ (Team Coach) and Mikasa are looking on from the side. Mikasa says they should try and help them but the coach is not so brave. One of the thugs ヤンギー (Yangii) has a baseball bat and talks to the 先輩 (Senior / furthest forward baseball player). Mikasa can take it no more. He runs up and confronts Yangii. Unfortunately he gets schooled. Shinada arrives on the scene.

When they leave it is revealed that 小鼓 (Kotsuzumi) was sat behind them all. He talks to Shinada. After a short while the Senior High School Student comes back in and stands next to Shinada for protection. Furugaki comes back in and acts menacing. The scen turns to an outside baseball pitch. Furugaki is pitching.
