As the owner of Sky Finance Akiyama collects the premiums from the people he loans to. This brings him in contact with Kanemura Enterprises and Hiroaki Arai, who he see's as a potential leader of his clan (Tojo).

Akiyama started up his operations by using the money he gathered from the Millennium Tower incident from {{Yakuza}}.

Akiyama is taken in by the police when he comes across the dead body of a yakuza of a rival clan deep in Tojo territory.

After being released, a mystery woman called Lily arrives at Sky Finance wanting to borrow 100 million yen.

He gets involved with what seemingly is an issue with the {{Shibata Family}}.
